Permanent Residence was given to us on the 19th October 2017

Once upon a time in 2016, the Smith family decided to pack up and move to Australia.

So our journey started in Phillip Silver office in Rosebank via a skype call to him in Sidney. Still every unsure about the big decision and the process of this crazy decision. Phillip really took his time to explain to us, how this works, what the steps are, and how to go about it.

There is no easy road to move to Australia, its like everyone jumps into the ocean at the same time but the ocean will spew each one out at a different rate, and a different place.

But having that one-person guide through this storm from collecting documents, getting affidavits, scrambling for old pay checks filling in documents, checking them, fixing up mistakes, rechecking documents again, looking up every little inch of your life. It’s nice to know that Phillip was there through it all.

I especially remember sitting one night in his office for four hours just to complete an online application for Vet-asses. (may your journey exclude vet-asses, the pain is real) Yes, it took us from 16H00 to 20H00 just to get that application in, and there were many applications to follow.

On the end of the day, Phillip really did a splendid job of your immigration journey. You need someone that can pay attention to detail, meet timelines and keen spirit of assisting fellow South African to complete the immigration process, as this job is not for the faint hearted.

On the end of the day our Permanent Residence was given to us on the 19th October 2017, and we happily settled here in Melbourne Victoria – The most liveable city in the world !

I know its scary to jump in the ocean, but you will not regret it with Phillip on your side.

Regards
